Jakob and a friend were riding their bikes across a freeway offramp in the unincorporated area of Long Beach when they were struck by a Target big rig. Jakob was trapped beneath the trailer, and was killed to the horror of the many witness at the busy intersection.

Some details can be found with searching; it happened almost three years ago and we still don’t really know why this happened. We may never understand “Why”…but we do know “where”…..RIP in heaven Jakob….we love you..
