Jakob and a friend were riding their bikes across a freeway offramp in the unincorporated area of Long Beach when they were struck by a Target big rig. Jakob was trapped beneath the trailer, and was killed to the horror of the many witness at the busy intersection.
Some details can be found with searching; it happened almost three years ago and we still don’t really know why this happened. We may never understand “Why”…but we do know “where”…..RIP in heaven Jakob….we love you.

Where Did Jakob Go? 
Our lives were forever changed after dad and then you left us. It was just too much.
